Registration can be processed in a number of ways. - You can mail in the registration form with check or money order.
- Phone our office with a credit card number (Visa and MasterCard)
- Fax your registration with a credit card number.
A receptionist is available to take your call between the hours of 4:00pm and 9:00pm. In-person registration is also available between the hours of 4:00pm and 9:00pm. Registrations can be accepted from the minute you receive the GCC Continuing Education brochure through the first week of classes. Keep in mind that classes fill up quickly. The sooner we receive your registration, the more likely you are to get the classes you want at the times you need. If enrollment is insufficient to run a class, we will contact you and provide you a full refund. Unless you are notified otherwise, please report to 100 Wing on your first night of class. You will be directed to your classroom. You will NOT be notified unless the class is cancelled or postponed. The 100 Wing is the first building on the left as you enter our complex off of Tanyard Road. SPECIAL ADMISSIONS INFORMATION Full-time Adult Evening classes are designed for persons 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED. Prerequisites for specific classes are listed in the course description. Part-time Adult Evening classes are designed for persons 18 years of age or older. A high school diploma or GED is not necessary. Most of our full and part-time programs are approved through the Veteran’s Administration. Contact the Adult Education office for more information. ADMISSION OF OLDER ADULTS - Persons age 60 or older can receive a 50% discount on tuition for classes over $100 with Seniors I.D. Card. TUITION & FEES All courses are tuition-based, with the exception of Adult High School and Youth One Stop programs. The quoted tuition fee includes a $25 registration fee for part-time classes and $50 for full-time classes. The entire tuition and all fees must be paid at the time of registration. There will be a $25 charge for all checks returned due to insufficient funds. CANCELLATIONS & REFUND POLICY All courses are subject to cancellation if enrollment is insufficient.
