Academy of IT & Digital Communications
The Academy of Information Technology & Digital Communication is a National Academy Foundation award-winning program that prepares students for higher education in a wide array of majors in the information technology and digital communication fields. Critical coursework, including a minimum of 30 transferable college credits, prepares students for the rigors of higher education. Opportunities are available for students to achieve industry standard certifications including IC3, CompTIA A+, and CCENT. Advisory committees, articulations, and affiliations ensure a state-of-the-art learning environment for students. The students in this Academy will be educated in a wide variety of Information Technology & Digital Communications courses. Each of the courses provides a foundation for many IT careers and employment in the IT field. The Academy of Information Technology & Digital Communications equips students with the personal, analytical, technical, and communications skills they need to thrive in today's digital and IT workforce and post-secondary education. This Academy is accepted and recognized by the National Academy Foundation (NAF). The National Academy Foundation, which provides access to over 90 National Companies for the junior year internship along with access to over 600,000 scholarships valued at $1 billion. They also have on-line information and support for Financial Aid. The college preparatory curriculum is developed by industry and education representatives and is reviewed and updated regularly. As alumnae of NAF, students receive an Academy Certified Diploma and are eligible for Post Secondary and Graduate Scholarships.
