The Gloucester County Institute of Technology is pleased to continue its partnership with Global Connect. Global Connect is a messaging system capable of providing real time voice notification of emergencies, weather events, school closings, updates as determined by school and emergency personnel, and student absence notification. Please complete the form below for new or updated information. New and updated information will replace information previously submitted. Revisions to the Global Connect database will occur monthly by the 30th. Please know that all media options may not be utilized in all situations. It is your responsibility to update the information below or contact the school if there are changes in your contact information.
We anticipate that Global Connect will augment our existing communications tools which include Roam Secure, Gloucester Alert, and our district website http://www.gcit.org/. All staff and faculty should submit their information in the Global Connect area of the “Staff Only” section. Here are some examples of different situations when Global Connect may be used. Every situation is not explained below. This is only to be used as a guideline.
