In addition you can see plumbing, heating, and HVAC techs, bakers, dancers, electricians, videographers, computer techs, and athletes--all focused on a successful future.
Changes in the GCIT facility, including a new gymnasium, cafeteria, classrooms, and science laboratories, afford our students a state-of-the-art environment to develop into productive members of our society. Our updated media center and technology provide opportunities to enhance learning in our high tech world. GCIT students, through real-time distance learning projects, enjoy the opportunity to learn from experts in dance, medical arts, and colleges throughout our country without leaving their classrooms.
Increased enrollment numbers have allowed for a greater number of choices in student activities, including our sports and community service activities. Growth and expansion have propelled GCIT forward to address the needs of our students and the Gloucester County community.
The Gloucester County Educational Network has extended its broadcast range to include Washington Township and broadcast in most areas in the county.
Collaborations and partnerships with Gloucester County College and the Gloucester County Workforce Investment Board have proven effective in increasing educational opportunities to the residents of Gloucester County. Partnerships with local universities, businesses, and labor unions have extended opportunities to the adult population beyond our adult regional high school program. |
