GCIT’s goal is to prepare students for college or for a career in Computer Science. Graduates of our program have majored in: Computer Science, Computer Programming, Video Game Design & Programming, Management Information System, Electrical and Computer Information Technology, Computer and Digital Forensics, and many more.

Computer Science students can begin a school-to-work option the summer before their senior year in GCIT's Information Technology Department. It is a paid internship, which gives them real world experience. Students may be given the option to continue the paid internship during their senior year. Upon graduating from The Academy of Computer Science, students are on track to become Computer Science professionals and take on jobs in cybersecurity and help desk roles.
