The Academy of Engineering offers students a comprehensive college preparatory high school experience with a focus on science, mathematics, and technology. The Academy is partnered with the STEM Academy and Paxton Patterson, two nationally recognized providers of STEM curriculum.
The Academy’s Advisory Committee is made up of professionals from the business community, engineers, and other professionals from higher education. Companies such as Boeing and Lockheed Martin have partnered with GCIT throughout the Academy’s inception.
Academy of Engineering graduates have been accepted at many prominent colleges and universities. Through the STEM Academy curriculum, the District has third-party validation through:
- The National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering (NACME)
