   Welcome to our 2026-2027 school year at GCIT! I hope that all of you enjoyed the summer and are excited to begin the new school year. I encourage everyone to embrace this new school year and soak up the many learning opportunities that it will present you. 

   For our students, immerse yourself in everything that GCIT has to offer. Try something new. Learn a new career or academic skill set, take a class in something you know nothing about or join a club. Be diligent in your approach to learning. Commit to giving yourself the time needed to learn and master academic material and career skill sets. Recognize that learning takes practice (like learning to play a sport does), a competent mentor to instruct you, and repeated correct practice to become proficient.     For our new students, rest assured that you will find your way to your classes! When you have a question, or need help, simply ask someone. For our returning students, welcome students who are new to GCIT and show them our Cheetah hospitality! 

   For our parents, thank you for choosing and entrusting GC IT with the education of your children. Know that our buildings are filled with adults who are committed to their educational and career success.
