The goal of GCIT’s Alumni Association is to foster relationships between the alumni and our school and to support our alumni in networking. We also want to reconnect classmates and to encourage them to remain connected to GCIT where they can give back to our current students through mentorships in their respective career areas and/or to make donations back to the classrooms or through scholarships.

The purpose of the Gloucester County Institute of Career Technical Student Organization Wall of Fame is to recognize Gloucester County Institute of Technology graduates and business partners. 

Nominees shall have distinguished themselves in the areas of leadership, character, achievement, service, suitability as a role-model, and/or contributions to career and technical education. 

The permanent honor of being elected to the Gloucester County Institute of Technology Career Technical Student Organization Wall of Fame represents individuals and organizations who, through their individual/collective efforts have exemplified the established vision of the Gloucester County Vocational-Technical School District.

Qualification for Nominations

A nominee for the GCIT Career Technical Student Organization “Wall of Fame” shall:

• be a graduate of GCIT and have attended all four (4) years as a student or have been a business partner for over 5 years;

• have been out of high school for at least five (5) years**;

• have been a member of SkillsUSA, FCCLA, HOSA, FBLA, DECA, International Thespian Society, or TSA for at least three (3) years

• have their nomination based on the qualifications of Leadership, Character, Achievement, Service, Suitability as a Role-Model, and/or contributions to Career and Technical Education.

Anyone may submit nominations by completing the official online nomination form, download and mail a copy of the nomination for, or a copy of which can be obtained in person at the main office at GCIT.

All applications nominating a candidate must be submitted no later than the January 2nd of each year in order to be considered for selection in that specific school year.

Nominations that meet eligibility criteria will remain active for three (3) selection cycles.

**The selection committee shall have the authority to “waive” the calendar year requirements in the event of extenuating circumstances.

***The selection committee may recommend special recognition awards in the event of extenuating circumstance with approval by the Board of Education.
